Xinpeng Hong
Xinpeng Hong is a final-year PhD student in the Computing Infrastructure Group at the University of Oxford, UK. His research focuses on time-sensitive applications of in-network machine learning, which involves offloading inference to programmable network devices. This work lies at the intersection of machine learning and programmable networking.
Before joining Oxford, Xinpeng received his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai, where he was recognised as an Outstanding Graduate of Shanghai. Xinpeng is also an alumnus of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum. His research was named the Best AI & Data Science Project, and received the Prototypes for Humanity Award from the Dubai Future Foundation in 2024.
