Josef Koumar

Josef is a cybersecurity researcher at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence driven network defence. Based at CESNET and the Czech Technical University in Prague, he focuses on classifying encrypted traffic and mastering time-series forecasting to predict network anomalies before they manifest.

Josef builds autonomous systems, and is currently developing agentic pipelines that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to revolutionise how we detect and respond to modern threats. One of his achievements is publishing a paper in the journal Nature Scientific Data.
