Jiri Setinsky

Jiri is a PhD student at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, and a researcher at CESNET, the Czech National Research and Education Network. His work focuses on log analysis, anomaly detection, and the application of artificial intelligence methods to large-scale operational data from networks and systems.

Jiri's research aims to improve automated analysis of system logs by combining machine learning, data science, and security monitoring techniques. He is particularly interested in developing efficient and interpretable methods for log parsing, anomaly detection, and monitoring in complex infrastructures. Jiri has participated in several national and international research projects focused on security operations and intelligent log analysis.

Jiri will be presenting a Lightning Talk at TNC26, which will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from 8 - 12 June 2026.
