Enrico Miotto | Politecnico di Torino
Enrico is completing the last year of his master’s of science in Communications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, following a path focused on optical fiber communications. He is also part of Alta Scuola Politecnica, an interdisciplinary honor program for talented students shared between Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino. Within this program Enrico is developing a cloud-type classifier, leveraging deep learning and machine learning algorithms.
For his master thesis, Enrico is working on mathematical modeling, enhancing the Digital Twin for optical networks developed by the PLANET team of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of Politecnico di Torino. The purpose is to enable optical network infrastructure as a service through the disaggregation and slicing made possible by the exploitation of the digital twin’s features.
