Anna Maria Yang-Jacobi

Anna Maria is a research assistant at Humboldt University Berlin for the Research Centre for Law at DFN-Verein. The Research Centre for Law assesses the development of new technologies and legal frameworks for academic institutions in Germany. Anna Maria’s work focuses on the digital transformation of law and data law. In her role, she regularly writes articles, hosts podcasts and gives presentations to inform universities and research institutions about important judgements, legal reform and other discussion points in the legal community.

Anna Maria studied law at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University as part of the Erasmus+ programme, and holds a law degree from the University of Freiburg, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in law. In her thesis, Anna Maria is examining the use of digital tools by supervisory authorities in Germany.
