Roman Janota
Roman is a master’s student at Brno University of Technology and a developer at CESNET, working within the Network Configuration Tools team. Roman's role at CESNET focuses on low-level C programming, and he actively contributes to open-source projects that build robust network management solutions.
While his day-to-day work is centred on networking infrastructure, quantum computing is at the heart of Roman's academic research. His master's thesis is dedicated to improving a high-performance quantum simulator and integrating it into Qiskit, a widely used framework for programming quantum computers. When stepping away from his keyboard, Roman enjoys scaling walls at the local climbing gym or playing tennis.
Roman will be presenting a Lightning Talk at TNC26, which will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from 8 - 12 June 2026.
