A Software Catalogue (SC) provides rich meta-information about software projects. For many years, GÉANT has implemented processes to validate services and applications in terms of security, quality, licensing and intellectual property protection or user privacy. As part of these processes, an SC enables project owners to pass such validation processes efficiently, but also provides teams with a useful analytical tool. In this Software Catalogue Infoshare, we will briefly show how easy it is to put your own project in SC, and what value it provides to teams.
